There is no better time than right now to settle into what is, right here, right now, in this moment. We are confronted all day long with the reality of impermanence, something, in the past, we only thought about on occasion.
To reduce stress and anxiety, Restorative Yoga and breathing are both powerful and important in our lives right now. We will practice some gentle stretches, take our time, breathe and rest.
Stress and its side effects can contribute to dis-ease in the physical, cognitive and emotional bodies. Understanding how to manage stress and anxiety is a basic and valuable skill for maintaining optimal health and experiencing a sense of peace and stability in the complex and especially demanding world we live in right now. Research and cognitive science have proven that restorative yoga and breathing techniques can reduce and manage symptoms of stress and anxiety and help us to feel more comfortable in the moment.
